I joined Essex Business School in September 2015 as a Lecturer in Finance. Prior to that, I gained my PhD in Economics from the University of Glasgow, MSc. in Economics from the University of Essex and Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. My research interests and ongoing research lies in the areas of financial economics, corporate finance, financial inclusion and firm performance with a special focus on the emerging markets.
